The Origins of the Massage Chair
Mechanical massage chairs started to appear in the 1950s and have kept up with the rapid pace of technology ever since. The first electric massage chair was designed in 1954 by Nobuo Fujimoto. Fujimoto made several versions of the chair from scrap materials before satisfied with the final chair design.
The Dvelopment of the Massage Chair
The first generation
Stationary vibration massage. The massage range is fixed on the waist, back and hip .Vibration massage, single technique
The second generation
Stationary vibration massage. Only fixed point massage fixed position, can not move up and down. Simple kneading massage, single technique
The third generation
The massage movement can be moved on the guide rail to massage multiple parts of the human body, and the massage mechanism has an independent autonomous drive device in any two axes of the space.
The fourth generation
The massage movement can be moved on the guide rail to massage multiple parts of the human body, and the massage mechanism has an independent and controllable driving device in three axes of the space.
The fifth generation
Under the control of the supporting control system, the movement of the massage head can realize the cooperative control of the three axes in the space at any position of the massage movement, with the planning and execution ability of the space trajectory.
The sixth generation
The force feedback control technology is introduced to quantitatively control the massage force, realize precise acupoint positioning and smooth massage without feeling of tension, which can meet the personalized demand of massage force.
